Implantable solution for severe conductive hearing loss
We have developed an implantable device which molds itself well into an input of the inner ear to provide hearing stimulation to those with conductive hearing loss (problems with their outer or middle ear). In human cadaveric testing, our solution provides better sound transmission than the current device. Our prototype provides a safer and improved solution that could help the tens of thousands living with severe conductive hearing loss.
