Mapping the mechanical properties of the cornea in health and disease
Current instruments lack the biomechanical sensitivity required for early detection of eye diseases such as keratoconus. Here, we demonstrate the diagnostic potential of Brillouin light-scattering microscopy, a non-invasive technique for spatially-resolved biomechanical measurement.
