Yuko Nakajima
Yuko Nakajima received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley, where she focused on identifying the molecular mechanisms underlying mitotic cell division using a multidisciplinary approach including molecular, cellular, genetic, biochemical, biophysical, structural, and bioinformatic approaches. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Brandeis University with James Haber and works on uncovering mechanisms of crosstalk between DNA damage and other cell cycle checkpoint pathways. She is passionate about making a more direct impact on diseases that require better detection and treatment.
