Shiran Ferber received her Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University in 2015. Her research focused on developing polymer therapeutics and theranostic probes for cancer diagnosis and treatment. She is currently a postdoctoral associate at the laboratory of Prof. Robert Langer at the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research at MIT. Her current work focuses on improving vaccine formulations for use in developing countries and is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Her research expertise is on the development of drug delivery platforms and using various imaging modalities to evaluate pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic profiles.
