Maryna Raskin
Maryna Raskin is a developmental psychologist with a research program focused on maternal depression and infant-parent mental health. She received a Ph.D. in Child Development from Tufts University, where she worked on a large longitudinal RCT of a home visiting program for adolescent mothers. Currently, she is a postdoctoral scholar at Tufts Interdisciplinary Evaluation Research (TIER). An overarching goal of her work is to identify protective mechanisms against maternal depression. She is also interested in the way depression influences how women engage in family services. The ultimate goal of Maryna’s work is to develop a training intervention for pregnant women at risk for depression, using smart-phone technology to help women regulate stress.
