Jessica Gronsbell
Jessica Gronsbell is a PhD candidate in Biostatistics advised by Dr. Tianxi Cai at Harvard University. Before coming to Harvard, she completed her undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of California at Berkeley. Her current research focuses on the development of efficient semi-supervised learning algorithms that accurately extract patient disease status from large electronic medical records databases. These algorithms allow for rapid and cost-effective generation of patient cohorts for medical discovery research including genome-wide and phenome-wide association studies.
