Alexandra Kulinkina
Alexandra Kulinkina is a PhD student at Tufts University, working with rural communities in Ghana to develop sustainable ways to reduce the prevalence of schistosomiasis, a water related disease. Her primary interest is solving public health problems through community-based engineering interventions, particularly in low resource settings. In addition to academic research at Tufts and Worcester Polytechnic Institute which included projects in Ghana, India and Thailand, Alexandra has worked at an environmental consulting firm in the Boston area, World Health Organization European Center for Environment and Health in Germany, and a public health non-profit in Uganda.
